Soundscape #123: It’s A P-A-R-T-A-Y!
March 6th, 2009I’m not a crowd person. I get nervous. I once blacked out in an underground tunnel cos there were too many people around. I don’t like going to crowded pubs where you can’t hear yourself speak either, no matter how much free booze is available.

Most of the time, I really hate the music blaring so loudly that every fibre of my being feels obligated to move to the same beat. It feels like a forced march to a good night out. But in a place where there is nice music, and space to move around to actually talk to people (the contents of which is not particularly important), it’s all the ingredients you need for a great night out.
This is for my good friend, Shan, who celebrated her “18th” birthday last week and even though it was so cold with the rain coming in the rooftop terrace and soaking my camper shoes, I had such a good time it was worth braving the rain for! This is for you, babe! Happy Birthday!!
