Soundscape #119: The Five Horsemen of The Apocalypse
January 30th, 2009Yes, I know there are only four horsemen of the apocalypse but if last Friday’s Mogwai gig didn’t leave you feeling as if the apocalypse had cometh, I don’t think you are made of flesh and blood.

This is the second time the beast has descended upon us and again for the second time, has unleashed such incredible power that it’s hard not to feel as if you’ve done something right somehow and someone was watching. I know I’m speaking like the rabid fan that I am but imagine four fat not incredibly fit Scottish guys wielding their guitars like they are defending the world and one almost scrawny little guy with a pacemaker (sorry, Martin) giving all he’s got… how can this not be the will of God?
