There are so many things in my life I would change if I could. You know, the usual, like study harder so I can make more money etc.. But it’s just wishful thinking and I know it too. Besides, will I still be the same person I am were circumstances to change? Blame it on the reflective nature of the year’s end/beginning shit but someone once asked me what age I would like to be right now. I think at this very instance, I would say right now.. staring down the barrel of the big 3-0.

I’m going to be 30 this april and sometimes it’s a scary thought and then sometimes it’s not. What’s not scary about it is that 30 is just a number, no? I could be 19 and would probably feel the same as I do now. I’m not sure if this means that I haven’t grown up one bit but it’s true, isn’t it? I think there’s this core in all of us that remains the same no matter how many years have passed. Sure we’d probably react to things differently at different ages, but that’s just experience talking, no?

On the other hand, 30 is just about the time when things go downhill, health-wise. Your skin starts to look like shit just because you slept 2 hours less last night. Or you find that after a mere couple of hours of shopping, you need a bloody lie down. I often feel like a kid stuck in a body growing too old for me to catch up.
